Week 3- Slow Week

This week I was supposed to do my practice pitch just so I felt better about the work I wanted to produce but due to home issues and a busy day at college I was unable to deliver my practice pitch. For the rest of the week I reviewed my script and caught up with previous blog work. Hopefully I will be able to do deliver my pitch first on Tuesday so that if any changes are needed I will be able to do it before the Easter Break, preventing me to fall behind on my schedule.

During the two week holiday I intend to spend my time on camera workshops so that I am prepared when actually in production, also locating suitable locations for my piece. When I  have completed my pitch I  am going to go through my work with Jordan Gott,I  am working with him on both mine and his project.

Also earlier this week I have been involved on helping Christi Cooper develop her script, she sent me key points towards her idea and I took each aspect onboard and created the script for her. Whilst reading the key points I realised that she wanted to go for the cheesy perfect family approach which isn’t my type of writing but after talking to her I realised that she wasn’t focused too much on creating a hard hitting drama but more wanted to experiment with the camera, allowing her to get experience firsthand. Considering as I am doing this for her, I am going to ask her to take part of my drama by performing the role of make-up artist once again. I know she will do the research and I know she is reliable.

This is what Christi done previously
